Why this site was made

In 2006 the Matcharashvili genealogy was gathered on a single large hand-drawn sheet. This site makes that knowledge available to everyone, preserves it, and lets the family add the next generations.

How it was made

The hand-drawn tree was scanned and every entry — names, spouses, dates and notes — was transcribed into digital form. Entries that have not been checked yet are marked "needs review" on the site.
